Husqvarna begun making rifles already in 1689. It has a long history making iron stows, pistols, sewing machines, bicycles, motorcycles, mopeds and outboard engines and more. In Husqvarna you can visit the old factory museum and look at all these products. In 1959 Husqvarna took over the Aldell motor and redesigned it and it was sold under the Husqvarna name. Its modern design gave it a nickname “The frying pan”. It was a good motor but only lasted till 1962.
